Close your eyes, press play, and step into the story.

The audiobook of Eden is ready for your listening pleasure!!

THE AUDIOBOOK IS LIVE!!!!!!

Friends, I’m so excited about this! This has been a huge project but now it’s all worth it! After I published Eden, which was in itself an incredible but daunting journey for me, I just knew I had to have an audio version as well. But it was scary because that was another totally new process to figure out and I didn’t want to do it unless it was going to be awesome. My daughter Mackenzie and I dove into the project probably at least six months ago and there was a huge learning curve to learn everything and make it sound amazing.

Thankfully, Mackenzie has a dreamy recording voice (she is a superstar singer and has lots of theatre experience) and she has just the right narrator voice for Kaya’s story. After a lot of blood, sweat, and tears (okay, maybe not blood, but it felt like it), the book sounds amazing! You are going to love the fantastic narrative voice of my darling girl. She’s a pro and the story is so fun to listen to! Even if you’ve already read Eden, it’s a different experience and I think you’ll love to hear the magic.

Same story, extra vibes. Go give it a listen!

Teaser for Echoes of Eden...

Teaser for Echoes of Eden: It’s a tricky balance giving a teaser without giving too much away, but here’s a quote fresh from the book oven to give you a little taste. Take a little walk with Kaya and Drew through the royal gardens:

“His mouth could almost taste the nectar glistening like honey, while the sound of hummingbirds and the constant hum of bees stealing gold among the blooms captured his ears. Drew had walked into Kaya’s playground and it was more than he could have imagined. He felt for Kaya’s hand and her fingers immediately locked with his. He gazed down to see her excited face, glowing with anticipation, and a smile that could melt the stoniest heart beaming up at him. He could get used to this” (27).

Eden Chapter One

What I’m reading:

Fearless, by Lauren Roberts. The last book of the Powerless trilogy, but I’m not far enough to say too much about it yet. I was a little disappointed about the 2nd book so I’m hoping for redemption in this last one!

The False Prince, by Jennifer Nielson. I loved this YA fantasy book about three boys vying to become the fake prince to rule after the kingdom’s royalty has been murdered. It’s a fun one!

Just finished:

The Earl Next Door, by Ashtyn Newbold. I also enjoyed this regency romance as a fun, easy beach read. I read it on our trip to Mexico and it was perfect for the airplane and poolside.

Born a Crime, by Trevor Noah. This book blew me away and I was super into it! Trevor Noah (famous comedian if you don’t know him) has had the craziest upbringing growing up in South Africa at the end of the apartheid era. Fascinated by his story. And he is a fantastic narrator for the audiobook (Warning: Lots of F bombs in the 2nd half of the book).

About to start:

Behind Her Eyes, by Sarah Pinborough. I’m ready for a good thriller and this one is supposed to be top level!
